We will connect you and your book with as many readers as you want as long as you provide each of them with a physical copy to read and review. We are not selecting readers randomly. The selection of hosts will be based on the book genre and the themes it features making sure they fall into the spectrum of what the hosts like to read; a match made in heaven!

Q: Is this a free service?
- No. Our team spends a minimum of 12 hours curating a personalized promotional event for your title. This includes creating all the required media, posters, blog page, announcement, opening host sign ups, to create & send a title-personalized newsletter, evaluating host sign ups, selecting the most suitable hosts for your book one by one, sending out the tour material, sending reminders twice to all hosts before and during the tour, checking each hosts' post and generally making sure everything is perfect. However the cost is very low compared to other promotional events on the internet.
Q: Why to choose Feather & Dove for my promotional event?

- Because our promotional events are tailor-made to each authors' needs
- Our hosts craft a unique and creative photo for each book with beautiful props in their own personal space as well as a charming description, *They do not post the same promotional photos that are created with the help of an online tool*
- Our reviewers are reliable and actually spend time reading the book and writing a lengthy, detailed review instead of claiming their free book and posting a ''fake'' review to be done with their part
- Our team supports the author from start -before the tour is even announced, to end -after the book tour is successfully completed. We take care of everything and make sure the author is as stress free as possible during, before and after the event!
- Our prices are significantly lower than other promotional initiations on the internet that charge a huge amount of money for the same service
- We ensure that our book tours have an average of 50.000 combined reach. Of course this number is subject to change depending on the number of hosts and which accounts will show interest in participating to a certain event


Q: Can I request a US only event? I cannot ship paperbacks worldwide.

- Absolutely! Our team will let YOU choose the regional restrictions of your event. You can totally go for a strictly limited to the US event with only US hosts. Likewise, you can request a UK-only, Canada-only, Europe-only, Europe & UK-only, X-region-only event. US & INTL events are the most popular thought because it enables a lot more people to participate so if you can ship a copy or two to INTL hosts that would affect the promotion of your book a lot better!


Q: I want an event with both US and International readers but I don't know how to ship copies to all of them, it's too much work and stress. What do you suggest?

- That's not a problem at all! You don't have to ship copies directly from your house. The easiest, hassle-free way to send paperbacks to readers worldwide is through Amazon or Bood Depository which only happens with the press of a button. We've done dozens of book events the last years and this is the most easy, tested and reliable way to distribute paperbacks! 


 
Q: Do I have to provide the hosts with a physical or digital copy?
- The selection of the book format is up to you. However digital only tours attract very little to zero interest. In tours where a limited supply of physical copies is available there is much participation and interest from bookstagrammers. If you are unable to send off physical copies to all hosts of a tour we would suggest offering a limited supply of paperbacks (2-3 copies) to be sent to randomly selected hosts - US, INTL or both. If you can provide digital copies only that's also fine but we can't guarantee about gathering enough hosts to make the tour happen. There are several digital-only book tours we had to cancel due to no interest whatsoever from hosts. We are a BIG family in our newsletter now but digital-only tours unfortunately just don't work out.

 
Q: Do I have to host a giveaway for the tour?
- Giveaways are not mandatory for the tour. However, hosting a giveaway significantly boosts the interaction with readers on the tour posts and helps the author gain extra
exposure through story shares, tagging of felow readers and following.
Q: What genres do you accept?
- We consider all genres!
Q: When do I have to submit my book for a tour?
- As early as possible! You can request a book tour as early as you want. We usually need at least 4-6 weeks before the tour date in order to create the material, select the hosts and of course give the hosts enough time to read your book. However, we can provide an alternative for last minute/urgent book submissions so don't hesitate to contact us! 

 
Q: How does this work?
- Book tours are book promotional, time-specific evens on Instagram. After requesting a book tour we will require from you some book related material such as the cover in high quality, two quotes, the synopsis etc. When we create the tour announcement we will open host sign ups which means that bookstagrammers will request to host your book (feature/review it on their Instagram feed on an assigned date). A few days later we close the host submissions and carefully select the required number of hosts for the tour plan you have chosen.
Note: you have to provide a free copy of your book (physical or digital) to all hosts in order for them to be able to talk about it or/and review it.​
Q: How do you select the hosts?
- Our team carefully selects the hosts for each tour based on the amount of followers, engagement on their posts, what genres they read and overall appearance of their feed. All the hosts are bookstagrammers, have an English based page and we're looking for the perfect book-to-reader match.
